Looking for lightweight golf bags? Well, not all golfers can afford to play golf with a caddy alongside to carry their bag for them eh, thus, a lightweight golf bag makes sense to bring along and carry all through the golf course.
Carrying through a lighter bag would not just free you of the unnecessary weight but it will also provide you a better golfing experience. It should be light enough to be carried or carted easily however, it should be strong enough to hold your clubs and accessories and protect them.
Before we carry on, just take note that this ranking list is for the lightest golf stand bags, if you’re after the lightest carry golf bag or thinking about lightweight golf cart bags, we have separate articles for those type of bags.
Ok, back to golf stand bags now. In our research, below are the top 13 lightweight golf bags today. The ranking is just based on how much they weigh and not necessarily with the other features of the golf bag.
However, we will provide the bag’s main features should they have the same weight to help you evaluate the overall suitability of the bag to your preference. We will start with the number 13th going through to the 1st ranked lightweight golf stand bag in this article.
Just before we start, we would like to say that the original article for this ranking was really outdated now and we have updated it to reflect the current market.
This is a complete overhaul of the original list as most of the golf bags then are not being sold anymore or were “upgraded” by the manufacturer but affected the weight of the bags somehow.
At any rate, we have come up with a new ranking list that you will surely find interesting.
Here we go:
